I’ve highlighted some of the best completely vegan and vegan-friendly bakeries in Atlanta that provide quality plant-based goodies without sacrificing taste!

Blackest Berry – Vegan

They say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice. I don’t know if that’s true when it comes to picking out fruit, but when you order from Blackest Berry, your dessert is bound to be a beautiful masterpiece! The icing on the cake (pun intended) is that this place is Black-owned and woman-owned!
All of their menu items are online pre-order and pick-up only. Layer cakes require at least 7 days’ notice and all other menu items (cupcakes, pies, turnovers, and spanakopita triangles) require 72 hours’ notice.
Choose from over a dozen fun flavors like strawberry shortcake, Bischoff, and hummingbird (pineapple and banana) for your cakes or cupcakes. They also offer a list of add ons to create the perfect treat for your special event.
Hebrew Bakes – Vegan

Hebrew Bakes is a Black-owned, all-vegan bakery located in West End Atlanta. Need a cake in a hurry? You can submit an online order form for same-day pickup. Just select your size and flavor (over 10 options!) and jot down whatever quick note you want to be written on the cake.
Tryna have it your way, like Burger King? Submit an online custom order form at least 72 hours in advance for more options of flavors, shapes, sizes, colors, and even fillings.
If you’re just looking for a quick personal dessert, swing by to pick up a mini sweet potato pie or cheesecake, brownie, slice of cake, cookie, cinnamon roll, or cupcake. Make sure to grab a Strawberry Shortcake cupcake when you slide through and thank me later!

The Vegan Sweetie is a Black-owned and woman-owned bakery located in Little 5 Points. The name of the shop is fitting because the owners of this family-owned business are as sweet as pie! Sidenote: I’d just like to take a second to note that I’m 2 for 2 on the dessert puns!
You can pre-order whole cakes, cheesecakes, and cookie cakes online to have your desserts delivered to your home on Mondays and Fridays, or pre-order to pick up in-store Wednesdays through Sundays.
In-store purchases are available at their weekend pop-ups with individual desserts like red velvet cheesecake ice cream, brownies, sweet potato pie, cheesecake, cake slices (their lemon cake is divine!), and cinnamon rolls.

Cinnaholic is an all-vegan bakery that serves brownies, cookies, and cookie dough, but their specialty is (you guessed it), cinnamon rolls. Let them cater your event, whether it be a lavish wedding, a small gathering with friends, or anything in between. Choose from options like cinnacakes, a design-your-own cinnamon roll bar, and cookie dough dessert shooters or create your own event menu.
You can also grab one of their signature cinnamon rolls like Old Skool (my personal favorite), Cookie Monster, and Sparkle Berry, or build your own from their list of icings and toppings. No matter what option you pick, you’re in for an ooey-gooey good time!
Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe – Vegan

The name Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe sums it all up for you: it’s a 100% vegan bakery and a cafe. This spot, located in Kirkwood, offers standard cake pre-orders with at least 48 hours’ notice and custom cake pre-orders with at least a one-week notice.
They also have a wide variety of personal serving treats like cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and scones that you can order online for same-day pick up, or just pop by and grab. I’m a fan of their deliciously funky flavors like chocolate lavender (which has actual pieces of lavender!) and orange cardamom scones.
If you’re looking for more than just baked goods, their cafe serves items like coffee, salads, soups, bagel and biscuit sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches.
VTasteCakes – Vegan

VTasteCakes is another Black-owned woman-owned vegan bakery in Atlanta dishing out beautiful cakes. Ordering from VTasteCakes will be even sweeter if you’re a UGA fan as the concept for the bakery was born and bred on campus.
All items must be pre-ordered online with delivery as an option within a 5-mile radius of the bakery. They offer a weekly rotating menu of select same-day pickup items. Standard orders of cupcakes, cookies, and cakes require 72 hours’ notice while custom orders require 7 days’ notice.

Five Daughters Bakery offers a few vegan options on their menu like their Salted Caramel Apple, Apple Fritter, and Strawberry Glazed yeast-raised donuts.
I ordered a few different donuts, thinking they could last me a few days. I was wrong though. They were so good that I basically inhaled all 3 of them in 15 minutes, so beware!
They ship their pastries from Nashville every morning, so make sure to pre-order or snag yours before they run out for the day!
